Pink October 1st on the Diamant Bleu barge

Every October, the association
“Le Cancer du Sein, Parlons-en!
association runs an information and awareness campaign to combat this terrible disease, which could affect as many as one woman in eight.

For this 25th edition, the association organized a conference aboard the Diamant Bleu boat, followed by a lively evening. The Le Diamant Bleu team, which supports and admires the League’s initiative, was delighted to respond to the League’s request.

Once again this year, the association fighting breast cancer is mobilizing to inform the female population of the importance of undergoing screening. A prevention and awareness campaign that has already saved the lives of several thousand women.

The association collects donations to support medical and scientific research into cancer, and keeps a close eye on emerging therapeutic advances, which are a source of hope for all women affected by the disease.

The slogan “Le Cancer du Sein, Parlons-en!” (Let’s talk about breast cancer!) has been widely adopted in France to reach as many women as possible. The month of October was packed with conferences, events, awareness-raising campaigns and information stands all over France.

To kick off this marathon month, the association has chosen to program a symposium in an original, elegant and convivial venue.

Moored in front of the Eiffel Tower, the Diamant Bleu boat welcomed guests of the association to attend a conference followed by a musical evening orchestrated by the Brigitte, who gave a private concert for the occasion.
