A timeless cruise… That's the experience Dalabois wanted to offer its employees during a getaway on the water. Mission accomplished! The spirit of the Roaring Twenties was definitely present that day, aboard our beautiful event boat.
One fine day in December, 300 people were invited to join a Parisian boat for a getaway they would remember for a long time. And with good reason…
The Roaring Twenties for a dazzling decor
Tall vases topped with equally ruffled plumes… Fine tableware and countless details and accessories reminiscent of the Belle Époque… The ship's panoramic lounge had been transported back to the Roaring Twenties. Elegance, luxury, and glamour reigned supreme, as they should. All that was missing were our distinguished guests, dressed in sequined gowns and three-piece suits , to complete the picture. And of course, the one everyone eagerly awaits, whose entrance is always magnificent… Not Gatsby the Magnificent , not this time, but the panache of our spirited dancers…
Denchanting shows
Once everyone was comfortably seated around our palatial tables… Let the show begin! First welcoming the guests at the entrance, our dancers, in their formal attire, were swept along by joyful music, tapping their feet, spreading smiles and good cheer , all in perfect rhythm, of course. The gentle madness and whimsy of the 20s were truly present. Already smiling faces were now lit up by laughter… You could say the atmosphere was sparkling… The champagne, the faces, even the Seine itself seemed to fizz in unison.
The Roaring Twenties on a cruise in the heart of Paris
Then comes the time for a lunch cruise on the most beautiful avenue in Paris, namely, the Seine… This river has the unique distinction of being home to most of Paris's most iconic monuments: the Eiffel Tower, the Musée d'Orsay, the Hôtel de Ville , and Les Invalides… It's very easy to imagine yourself traveling back to the heart of the 1920s… The beautiful Parisian quays haven't changed much since then… The 2.5-hour excursion allows everyone to continue this journey out of time, before launching into a lively Charleston in the panoramic lounge transformed into a floating dance floor.
